The Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (IASHS) was (est. 1976) it was an institution and resource center in the field of sexology located in San Francisco, CA. They offered doctorates, degrees, and certificate programs focusing on public sexual health, clinical sexology, and sexological research. The Institute started from research in the 1960s that highlighted the lack of understanding and being honest, real, genuine knowledge and training in human sexuality.
