In my pre-SW life when I was working in offices I understood female friendship to be rooted in a toxic culture of competitiveness and almost being as masculine as possible to succeed, to be promoted, to fit in and show that women can do it too. I don’t deny that there’s a huge amount of benefit in leaning into masculine energy, but leaving that world and embracing my femininity was game changing.
As I undid years of rat race and societal conditioning I learned to balance the masculine with my feminine; to soften, open, lean, learn and heal. SW has given me female friends that are business women, kind, savvy, smart, loving, open and above all, free. Female friendships do not need to be rooted in toxicity and competitiveness. Creating with women feels like friendship and joy and creativity and expansiveness 🌿
