Added 2021-01-12 02:45:13 +0000 UTCI've been a little slow on here for a number of really good reasons. I started taking jc classes last week so I've been reorienting my schedule in that regard. I also found out my request for top surgery has been approved by both my insurance and my surgeon of choice - much faster than I anticipated. Though I've made peace with having breasts, I have always wanted a reduction and I'm feeling very emotional that it is possibly happening this very year. I still need to have consultations and to save money, but like....it's real? And it's both exciting and very frightening. I've never had a major surgery before, and the initial phase of healing is a whole 6 weeks. I have a lot to plan, including making content to last through my surgical recovery. :) I also started HRT last week. I am taking a topical testosterone with a DHT blocker, which should in theory cause my hair and junk to look the same but my voice and muscle mass to change. My voice is pretty dysphoric for me (which is one reason I'm not very vocal on here - I hate having to review my audio) so I'm excited for the change though I know it will take three months to a year to see definite change. All in all, I've had a lot on my mind the last week! I'm ready to focus again now. Starting this page has been so great for me.
