This is not sexy at all so feel free to skip but I'd love advice if you've dealt with stuff like this before. Ive been having trouble sleeping lately. I am literally a sentient ball of anxiety and that shit COMES ALIVE at night. I'll be totally ready to drift off, no lights, no phone, it took 30 minutes of laying still to get to this point.....and then I'll have an intrusive, mean, anxious thought and I jolt awake and the process starts over. Like I will be so ready to sleep and then my brain is like "you'll probably fail the bar exam and all this shit will be for nothing you dumbass" and I will physically feel my body tighten up. Like I can physically feel the stress in my body. This will happen over and over again until its 4:30 and I pass out from sheer exhaustion but I still have to be at work at 9:00am so I feel like shit the next day. The bright side is that once I get to sleep, I am the deepest sleeper you'll ever find. At least I have that lol. But yeah, I know that a lot of people suffer from insomnia and anxiety so if you have any tips or routines that have really worked for you I'd love to hear them
